How Long Should You Rent Moving Bins? 1, 2, 3 or 4 Weeks
How many weeks of moving bin rental do you need? A simple guide for studios, apartments and family homes in New Jersey, with prices for 1 to 8 weeks.
How many weeks do you need moving bins?
The right rental length depends on the size of your home and how fast you pack. Here is a simple starting point. Most people pack over a few evenings and weekends, move, and then unpack at their own pace.
- Studio or 1 bedroom: 1 to 2 weeks
- 2 bedroom home: 2 to 3 weeks
- 3 bedroom home or larger: 3 to 4 weeks
- Downsizing, renovating or moving in stages: 4 weeks or more
You can choose 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks or longer when you order, and the price adjusts to the length you pick. You pay once and there is no subscription.
Prices by length of rental
These are prices for Standard bins (12 gallon). Longer rentals cost more and shorter ones cost less.
A simple moving timeline
- Delivery, 3 to 5 days before you start packing. The bins arrive clean and ready, with QR labels.
- Packing week. Pack room by room. List what is inside each bin by scanning its label.
- Moving day. Stack and load. Bins with lids close flat, so they stack safely.
- Unpacking. Keep the bins until the rooms are unpacked. Then book a collection and we take the empties away.
Add a few days at each end if you are moving a long way or your dates are not fixed. If your dates change, reach out or chat with us.
